Vivo may also launch Vivo V23e and Vivo V23 Pro in India
The Vivo V23 5G launch in India will take place sometime later this month, according to a report. The smartphone packs the same specifications as the Vivo V21 5G, which launched in India in April this year. This means that the rumored smartphone may have a 6.44-inch Full-HD + (1,080×2,404 pixels) AMOLED display, octa-core MediaTek Dimension 800U SoC and a 64-megapixel primary sensor on the triple rear camera setup. The Chinese company may also launch the Vivo V23e and Vivo V23 Pro, the report said.
Quoting tipster Yogesh Brar, 91 Mobiles reported that the Vivo V23 will be launched in India in December along with the Vivo V23e and Vivo V23 Pro. The Vivo V23 will have the same specifications as the Vivo V21 5G, but with 5G-capable SoC and more camera features, the report said. The Vivo V23e recently had a triple camera setup in Thailand with a MediaTek Dimension 810 SoC and a 50-megapixel main camera. No information on Vivo V23 Pro handset specifications.
Vivo V21 5G specifications
The dual SIM (Nano) Vivo V21 5G runs on Android 11 with Funtouch OS 11.1. It has a 6.44-inch Full-HD + (1,080×2,404 pixels) AMOLED display with 20: 9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone features a MediaTek Dimension 800U SoC with 8GB of RAM as standard. The Vivo phone also gets an extended RAM feature, which is said to use up to 3GB of ROM as virtual RAM for a better multi-tasking experience.
In the camera segment, the phone comes with a triple rear camera setup highlighted by a 64-megapixel primary sensor. It is paired with an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies and video chats, the Vivo V21 5G has a 44-megapixel camera sensor on the front.
The Vivo V21 5G offers onboard storage options up to 256GB. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo 33W FlashCharge comes with a 4,000mAh battery that supports fast charging.
