Redmi Smart TV 32 and Smart TV 43 were launched in India on Wednesday. The new smart TVs aim to provide features including “All-Round Entertainment” and Dolby Audio, IMDb integration and Google Assistant support. The Redmi Smart TV models feature the Dolby 5.1 surround sound experience and run on the latest patchwall skin. Xiaomi has bundled the new Redmi smart TV models with the new Mi Remote, which includes a dedicated Google Assistant button and features like Quick Mute and Quick Wake. Xiaomi pits the Redmi Smart TV 32 and 43 models against the OnePlus TV Y1 32 and 43 and the Realme Smart TV 32 and 43.
Price in India and Availability
In India, the Redmi Smart TV 32 is priced at Rs. 15,999, Redmi Smart TV 43 priced at Rs. 25,999. The new Redmi Smart TV models are available for purchase in the country through Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home Stores and offline retailers. The TVs will go on sale from the first day of the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2021 and Diwali With Me sales. The sales dates for this festive season have not yet been revealed.
To attract customers during the festive season, Xiaomi Redmi Smart TV 32 and Smart TV 43 will be available with exclusive festive offer and price, according to an online announcement. However, the exact details will be announced at a later stage.
Before the specifications, both the Redmi Smart TV 32 and the Redmi Smart TV 43 run box-on-the-box with Patchwall 4 on Android TV11. Proprietary Skin offers features such as Universal Search, Kids Mode and Language Universe along with IMDb integration. The TVs feature Xiaomi’s Vivid Picture engine and 20W speakers with Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual: X support. Additionally, Dolby 5.1 has surround sound for a better audio experience. Redmi smart TVs also come with Chromecast built-in and pre-loaded with Google Assistant support.
Both the Redmi Smart TV 32 and the Redmi Smart TV 43 have a new Mi remote that includes features including a dedicated Google Assistant button and a quick mute, which allows you to mute the TV by pressing the volume down key twice. The remote also has a quick wake feature that helps turn on the TV in less than five seconds.
Newer Redmi Smart TV models include dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.0 with wireless connectivity options. TVs also have the latest Miracast app for streaming Android devices to large displays. Furthermore, there is an auto low latency mode that helps reduce the latency rate when using TVs with an auto console.
The ports of the new Redmi Smart TV models include two HDMI, two USB 2.0, AV, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an Ethernet and an antenna port.
The main difference between the two models is that the Redmi Smart TV 32 has a 32-inch HD display, while the Redmi Smart TV 43 comes with a 43-inch full-HD screen. There are 16 million colors in both models.
Redmi Smart TV models come in eco-friendly eco-packaging that can be converted into a storage shelf or cat house.
