The Poco India teaser suggests starting with “C U Soon”.
The Poco C series in India is expected to add a new model on September 30, the brand released a teaser image on social media on Thursday. Details about the new model have not been revealed yet, but it is expected to be the successor to the Poco C4 – launched in the country last year. The previous model came as a slightly tweaked version of the Redmi 9C and came with features including triple rear cameras and a waterdrop-style display notch.
The official Poco India account posted the teaser on Twitter, indicating that the new Poco C-Series phone will be launched soon. According to the teaser, the launch will take place on September 30 at 12pm (noon).
Shortly after Xiaomi posted the teaser through the spin-off brand, some of its followers were speculating about the Poco C4 launch. It may be the successor to the Poco C3, which launched as the most affordable Poco phone in October last year. The official teaser image does not give specific details and suggests launching a new model in the Poco C series, saying “C U Soon”.
Poco C3 crossed the record of one million units sales in India in January, which rose to over two million in August. The phone received a price cut earlier this year and is currently priced at Rs. 7,349 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. There is also a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option, priced at Rs. 8,349.
Poco C3 Specifications
Before the specifications, the Poco C3 has a 6.53-inch HD + (720×1,600 pixels) display with 20:9 aspect ratio and octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SOS, up to 4GB of RAM. The phone comes with a triple rear camera setup, a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging and a micro-USB port. The Poco C3 supports storage expansion (up to 512GB) via a dedicated microSD card slot.
