Nvidia says laptops with these GPUs will be launched in the spring of 2022.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050, Nvidia GeForce MX570 and Nvidia GeForce MX550 GPUs have been announced for entry-level laptops. The new Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 aims to provide an affordable option for gamers and creators alike. According to the company, the standard memory configuration of the GPU is 4GB (DDR6), and it has a 64-bit memory interface width. The other two GPUs are nicely designed for faster workflow. Nvidia says laptops with these graphics cards will be available from the spring of 2022.
Nvidia says its latest GPUs will offer gamers and creators more options. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 GPU is an addition to the company’s 20-series graphics card. It includes RT cores, tensor cores and the Nvidia encoder to enable features such as Ray Tracing, Nvidia DLSS, Reflex and Broadcast. Nvidia claims that the GeForce RTX 2050 also “works seamlessly with Nvidia Optimus technology” for longer battery life and great performance.
According to The Verge Report, the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 is based on the Ampere GA107 architecture used in the GeForce RTX 3050. It also comes with 2,048 CUDA cores, 4GB GDDR6 memory and a 64-bit memory bus.
Meanwhile, the Nvidia GeForce MX570 has been cited as the company’s fastest MX GPU, which can speed things up. It has power-efficient CUDA cores and faster memory speeds than previous MX GPUs to enable faster photo editing, video editing and gaming. Similarly, the Nvidia GeForce MX550 is said to offer better performance and capability when editing photos and videos in software such as Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Pro, respectively.
