We have encountered many leaks and speculations regarding the upcoming Xiaomi flagship smartphone – Xiaomi 12. The smartphone is set to be unveiled later this month, mostly on December 28th. This smartphone will be launched along with the latest iteration of its custom ROM – MIUI 13. This new iteration of the custom ROM will be a sequel to MIUI 12.
Now, MIUI 13 has been leaked via SparosNews via the company feedback app. It continues the geometric design trend seen in the previous iteration of its custom skin.
The Xiaomi UI team has leaked screenshots and videos of the MIUI 13 as they gather more details about the upcoming update. The video shows some of the new features that have been updated at the right time to prepare the new ad.
MIUI 13 Features Leak
The first two videos of MIUI 13 show the home screen of the new update. This is a new Infinity Scroll feature that loops home screen panes. That means when you go to the last screen, it will take you to the first screen with a swipe.
There are also smaller widgets introduced with the MIUI 12.5 beta update. However, these have not yet been launched in the MIUI 12.5 stable update. Check out these changes in the leaked video below.
Finally, let’s talk about the existing feature – Video Toolbox. What started as a video toolbox has now been renamed the Smart Toolbox. Now, it’s renamed again and is called Sidebar. One of the screenshots also shows what this feature looks like in MIUI 13.
This year, Xiaomi is doing some rebranding work and updating its product lineup by removing Mi from the names of its premium offers. With MIUI 13, these devices look like completely new offers.
If MIUI 13 is unveiled in the coming days, we can expect it to be released to the same customers in the next few months starting in 2022.
