Acer has officially released India’s first gaming laptop with a 360Hz refresh rate. Although there are plenty of gaming laptops with 300Hz refresh rate in India, the new Acer Predator Helios 300 is the first laptop to offer 1080p resolution with 360Hz refresh rate.
The latest gaming laptop from Acer also gets additional features like 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D Fan Technology, which uses three fans to keep the system cool. According to the company, the Acer Predator Helios 300 is made for competitive gamers who can take advantage of the high refresh rate display.
The Acer Predator Helios 300 comes in three models with 360Hz refresh, 300Hz refresh rate and 165Hz refresh rate, all offering native 1080p resolution. One caveat to the new Helios 300 is that it is still powered by an 11th Gen Intel CPU. Specifically, it uses an Intel Core i9-11900H CPU, an octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 4.9GHz.
The device has a wide range of I/O including single USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, USB Type-C port (Thunderbolt 4) port, RJ45 port, 3.5mm audio jack. Finally, there is also a full-size HDMI 2.0 port. The Predator Helios RTX 3060 laptop comes with a GPU with 6GB of video memory. The laptop offers 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD and also has an HDD slot, which supports a 2TB 2.5-inch HDD.
The 59Whr battery powers the Acer Predator Helios 300 and provides average battery life. Note that the laptop is shipped with a 2430W power adapter, which should be sufficient to power both the CPU and the GPU.
